    Brief consultative services are available via phone or video conference, by appointment.

    Written requests for inter-professional collaboration with other clinicians, teachers, medical providers, or other team members are welcome.

    • Screening services are available by appointment for individuals through self-referral.

    • Screening sessions for a group of individuals may be scheduled to be held at a daycare, private preschool, or local library with prior arrangement.

    • Signed consent by a legal guardian is required prior to any screening.

  • Each client is unique, and their assessment will be, too!

    Assessments and/or diagnostic evaluations will include combinations of formal and informal measures, review of records, observations, and in-depth interview and partnership with clients and parents/caregivers. This informs the development a plan of care that reflects a holistic view of the unique strengths, skills, priorities, goals, interests, and access of the individual as well as their support system.

  • A variety of services are available through referral from your primary care doctor or pediatrician as well as through self-referral.

    Clients include:

    • children as young as 18 months with delayed development of speech, language, play, and/or communication

    • preschool to high school students before, after, during, and over breaks from school to address:

      • speech clarity, intelligibility, enunciation or pronunciation

      • phonemic awareness, phonological skills, pre-literacy

      • expressive vocabulary, sentence and story telling and re-telling

      • receptive language & interpretation of verbal and non-verbal communication

      • self-advocacy, making and maintaining friendships, perspective-taking, and cognitive flexibility

      • stuttering, fluency, and pacing

      • related cognitive-communication challenges , such as difficulty recalling or retelling events or stories, following and recalling multi-step directions or sequences, and more

  • Services are available for adults of all ages, backgrounds, and genders through medical referral or self-referral to address:

    • Communication to include difficulty expressing themselves, being understood by others, or participating socially with family and friends to include treating aphasia.

    • Speech production, enunciation/pronunciation, and strategies to overcome physical barriers

    • Voice disorders, changes, vocal health, hoarseness or changes in the quality, volume or endurance.

    • Cognition changes, memory loss, or reduced independence in expressing and accessing wants, needs, preferences, and ideas

    • Accent or Voice Modification or Management within a respectful, culturally responsive, trauma informed, affirming, and functional framework

  • In order to make the most meaningful, functional, and lasting improvements, it is imperative that a client’s environment and those who surround them receive education, training, coaching, and tools to apply or incorporate into daily life and routines.
